Australia 2030 target: 90% of girls and boys vaccinated by age 15 years

Status:  2022 HPV vaccination coverage in both sexes was 84.2% (85.3% in females and 83.1% in males)(reduced from 2021 cohort by 1.1% (0.9% in females and 1.3% in males)).

Data for all individual remoteness categories was not available for 2019 and 2020. However, coverage in inner and outer regional areas combined was 87.1% and 87.5%, respectively, while in remote or very remote areas combined, it was 85.8% and 86.1%, respectively.
